Counties Manukau win match against Otago

Having made it to the finals of the ITM Cup Championship, the Otago rugby team couldn't quite pull off a win to gain promotion into the premiership table.

They played Counties Manukau at the ECOLight Stadium in Pukekohe, in front of a vocal crowd of 12,000 on Friday night.

Otago did not play with 100% accuracy and some lapses in defence saw Counties Manukau take advantage.

Counties Manukau won the match 41 points to 16.
