BMX club popularity surges after Olympics
The sport of BMX has enjoyed a resurgence since the London Olypmics, and in Dunedin the local club has felt an impact.
They now have nearly twice the amount of riders, and credit the visit of Olympic champions Sarah Walker and Alison Shanks as one reason.
Due to the growing popularity, the club is holding a Schools' Challenge, where kids can put their new found skills into practice.
