Oil giant Shell back in Dunedin today

Oil giant Shell was back in Dunedin today, as the company continues to work towards drilling off the Otago coast.

A final decision on an exploratory well is yet to be made.

But the visit today included work with local organisations, suggesting the decision may not be far away.

And Shell says, if it finds the gas it believes is out there, the find would be a game changer for Dunedin.
