Brad Thorn training with his new team

All Black legend Brad Thorn has been out training with his new team, the Highlanders.

The Mosgiel-born dual-code international has had a decorated professional sporting career here and overseas.

Now he's preparing for a season with the southern franchise, and says his respect for the coach was one of the main reasons for coming here.
