A new programme designed to get younger sports people on the podium is about to receive some much needed funding in Dunedin.

High Performance Sport New Zealand made a presentation to the Dunedin City Council yesterday, outlining its latest report.

And with sporting success in the city growing, the organisation hopes its new programme will work well into the future.
