Two of Dunedin's beloved fashion labels are set to represent the city at this year's New Zealand Fashion Week in Auckland.

Nom*D and Company of Strangers are the only labels from south of Christchurch being showcased at the country's top fashion industry event.

Nom*D has the coveted position of being the first label to show at this year's fashion week, starting on August the 25th.

The label is a regular at the event, while younger brand Company of Strangers is in the process of developing a strong following.

New Zealand Fashion Week is the biggest business event of the year for local designers, with hundreds of international buyers attending.
