The ice challenge has been circulating on social media for the past few weeks.

It sees people douse themselves in ice cold water to mimic the shock factor of chemotherapy.

Those people are then encouraged to donate money to a cancer charity and nominate friends to also complete the challenge.

So the 39 Dunedin News Word on the Street team went to the CBD to ask people what they think of the ice challenge.
