New research shows the winter blues are having less of an impact on the holiday park sector compared to last year.

The Holiday Parks Business Confidence Monitor for July and August indicates 64% of campers are currently more optimistic than pessimistic.

And while it is a decrease from June and July, it is 25% higher than the same period last year.

Results show weather conditions are the lead factor influencing any decrease in demand, suggesting confidence is likely to rise heading into spring.
