A Festival planned to celebrate Dunedin's Scottish Heritage will be held at the end of this month.

The event is inspired by the Dunedin Burns Club and Robert Burns Association of the Pacific Rim.

Co-ordinator Ann Barsby says Dunedin is the logical place to hold the festival, with its history and array of historic clubs and societies that are still going strong.
