Almost $4.5m has been granted to local groups in the last 12 months through the Otago Community Trust.
It's continued to support the warm homes project in Dunedin - contributing $220,000 to the initiative in the last financial year.
That was the trust's main recipient of funding, although several other Dunedin projects have also received a cash boost.
They include the rebuild of the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club - allocated $80,000.
Community activity and well-being projects received $1.4m million, as did sport and recreation initiatives.
