The Corstorphine community is rising above its negative stereotypes through a new active families initiative.

It was started last year by Corstorphine resident Esme Helm, who received a doctor's referral for a similar programme.

And there's widespread hope within Corstorphine that it will help revitalise the area, as well as encourage spin-off programmes in other suburbs.
