Labour leader hopeful Grant Robertson has been in Dunedin, talking to party members about his leadership bid.

The whirlwind visit was a chance for him to hear their views on Labour's dismal election result, and how the party can improve.

And Robertson has also used the trip to connect with Dunedin's next generation of Labour Party members.
