Coverage Maps

Cowan Road Coverage.Cowan Road:
Channel 9's main transmission site is located at Cowan Road on the way to Mt Cargill. It transmits on channel UHF62 and is designed to cover the greater Dunedin area. This is the stations primary transmitter.
Abbotts Hill Coverage.Abbotts Hill:
The Abbotts hill site is designed to cover the Mosgiel and wider Taieri area. This site has its own transmitter and the main signal is microwaved to the site. This site transmits on channel UHF50.
Centre Road.Centre Road
Channel 9's Centre Road site is a translator. It receives the signal from Channel 9's primary transmission site and re-broadcasts back towards the West Harbour areas. This translator relays signal on channel UHF50.
North East Valley Coverage.North East Valley:
To provide service to North East Valley residences Channel 9 also operates a transmitter at the top of the valley. The signal is microwaved to this side from a building in town and is broadcast on channel UHF50 down the valley.

The displayed coverage areas in no way guarantee the ability to receive the station. A clear line of site to the transmission site is a requirement, as is an appropriate receiving aerial system.
