A new business book is being launched in Dunedin, to showcase local enterprise.

The "Little Black Book" of Dunedin Business is being launched by the Grow Dunedin Partnership.

Chairman Chris Staynes says the book will help people realise the range of innovative and exciting companies within the city.

It's part of wider plans to develop the local economy.

The book profiles 60 Dunedin business people, and highlights why they choose to operate in the city.

It's hoped the book will attract like-minded people to do business here.

Many of the companies featured have an export focus, with the potential to increase jobs and raise gross domestic product.
