Otago cricketer Mark Craig is one of two new faces named in the New Zealand test squad to face the West Indies next month.
Twenty-seven year old Craig was named after a stand-out Plunket Shield performance, taking 22 wickets for Otago.
Head coach Mark Hesson said Craig, who is a right arm off-spinner, will be valuable against the West Indies left-handed heavy top order batting line-up.
Other Otago players selected include Brendon McCullum, James Neesham, Hamish Rutherford and Neil Wagner.
Craig, Rutherford and Michael Bracewell have also been named in the New Zealand A side to tour England in July and August.
