Millions will need to be spent on protecting South Dunedin from sea level rise, as a result of climate change.

The most comprehensive information about the likely risks and costs associated with sea level rise in Dunedin has been compiled.

Now councillors must consider what's likely to happen to the city in coming decades, and how much it will cost to mitigate adverse effects.
